AU fics loved; canon divergence all the way to modern / no powers or specifically themed aus. Crossover style aus (x characters in y universe) are so fun, but if I haven't created for the source material, I'd prefer that the fic be understandable w/o knowledge of the "y universe" context.

Things I DO NOT WANT to receive:
1) major archive warnings
**caveat on major character death is that I'm okay with temporary character death so long as it's resolved
2) unhappy endings
3) fic or art about pregnancy that goes into detail about the bodily experience of being pregnant/any scenes depicting childbirth
**kidfic is fine otherwise tho, and pregnancy is fic is fine if it's not super graphically described / visualized
4) fics or art containing "on-screen" self-harm or suicide (mentions of past incidents are fine if they are not graphic or flashbacks)
5) fics or art containing institutionalization
6) relationships with unaddressed & starkly unequal power dynamics that lead to dubious consent scenarios
7) poorly handled mental health tropes (such as anything "split personality" for horror reasons or personality disorders to indicate 'evilness' in a character. love me some good explorations of PTSD / trauma / mental health, but very little will piss me off as much as poorly handled mental illness esp when it exacerbates the stigma around certain illnesses & disorders).

I got my codywan bingo card! Gonna try to fill some prompts with fic but also some prompts with podfic, and I'm super excited!

 Things I would most like to see (or rather, hear): transgender main characters, nonbinary characters in particular, gender exploration, identity exploration, coming of age, falling in love, fake dating / didn't know they were dating / fake not-dating / stealth dating, angst with a happy ending, domestic fluff, found family (including genfic), there was only one bed, mutual pining, etc. I am okay with content of all ratings.

On the other side is Barton, with a dog—since when is there a dog in the tower?—on a purple leash, who grins at him like they’re friends, when in reality they’ve spoken maybe sixty words to each other, total, and five sixths of those were probably Barton speaking at Bucky and garnering no response.

“You should come for a walk with me and Lucky,” Barton tells him, still grinning at him.

Author's Note: Releasing this into the world as a chapter fic because I've been keeping it close since January and I really want to share it. I have about three more chapters already written, and it... might... be winding down? Will probably update every couple of weeks, maybe more frequently as summer hits.
